Your audio files

MP3 conversion runs locally in your browser. The audio file, its contents, and the generated MIDI are not uploaded to our server as part of the conversion process. Your browser downloads the model and site assets required to perform transcription.

Google Analytics

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use Google Analytics 4 only after you select “Accept analytics” in the consent banner. In other regions, analytics may be enabled by default where permitted, and you can turn it off at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. When enabled, Google Analytics may collect information such as page views, session statistics, approximate location, browser type, and device information. It may use a first-party cookie such as _ga to distinguish browsers.

Our custom analytics events describe actions such as starting a conversion or downloading MIDI. We do not send your file name, audio content, local file path, or generated MIDI to Google Analytics. Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in our basic configuration.

You can reject analytics or reopen “Cookie settings” in the footer. When rejected, we stop analytics collection and remember the choice for future visits. Google's handling of information is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” control in the footer.

Local storage

We store your analytics consent choice in your browser's local storage so the site can remember it. You can clear this choice through your browser settings or reopen the cookie settings control.

Server and hosting logs

Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical logs such as IP address, request time, requested page, user agent, and error information to deliver and protect the site. These logs do not contain the MP3 processed locally by the converter.

Accounts and authentication

If you create an account, we store your email address, a hashed password, and whether your email address has been verified. We use Supabase Auth to provide sign-in, email verification links, and password reset. Your plaintext password is never visible to us. Account information is used only to provide access, track your quota, and associate purchases with your account.

Anonymous usage cookie

To provide a free download without requiring an account, we set an HTTP-only cookie (for example anon_id) that does not identify you personally. It records whether a guest download has been used by your browser. When you sign in, this guest usage is merged into your account so it is not counted twice.

Usage and quota data

When you download MIDI, we store a minimal record of the conversion result, such as the number of notes, estimated duration, selected preset, and its status. This is required to grant downloads, enforce the free-download limits, and prevent duplicate charges. Your audio file and its contents are not stored as part of this process.

Feedback

When you submit optional feedback (for example after a failed conversion or a successful download), we collect the description you provide and, if you choose to include it, your email address. This is used only to improve the product and respond to you. We do not attach your audio file to feedback.

Payment information

Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details. PayPal shares limited information with us, such as the order or subscription ID, amount, currency, and status, so we can fulfill what you purchased (for example credits or a subscription). PayPal's handling of your payment information is governed by the PayPal Privacy Statement.

Contact messages and retention

If you email us, we receive the address, message, and information you choose to provide. We keep messages only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

Your choices and questions

You can turn off analytics and can process an MP3 without creating an account. You can also ask us to delete your account and its associated quota records. For access, deletion, correction, or other privacy questions, email our support address. Privacy rights vary by location, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
